Intersections of Colonialism and Medicine in East Asia, March 10 and 11 at Pitt.



The University of Pittsburgh's Asian Studies Center will host the Intersections of Colonialism and Medicine in East Asia conference on March 10 and 11.
The conference features
researchers from across the globe joining Pitt faculty to analyze how local practitioners and providers of medical care responded to the advent of colonialism in East Asia over the course of the long 19th century
.
A conference program is available below. The sessions are free and open to the public, but RSVP is required to attend the lunch with presenters.
