League of Gods (封神传奇) in Pittsburgh, from July 28.

The 2016 movie League of Gods (封神传奇) will play at AMC Loews Waterfront from July 28. It's an adaptation of the 16th-century novel Investiture of the Gods (封神演義), and is described by American outlets as a "Chinese X-Men". The distributor provides a summary of the film starring Jet Li, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, and Louis Koo:
A long time ago, a determined King Zhou, supported by his concubine Daji, sets his mind on conquering the Middle Kingdom. After years of slaughter, the unyielding Adept tribes have been eliminated in succession. Jiang and General Ji from Qishan are King Zhou’s longstanding opponents. Under a divinatory sign, Jiang discovers that the Sword of Light can reverse the adversity.
There are 2D and 3D showings scheduled. Tickets and showtimes are available at the AMC Loews Waterfront website. The theater is located at 300 West Waterfront Dr. in the Waterfront shopping complex in Homestead (map), across the Monongahela River from Greenfield, Squirrel Hill, and the rest of Pittsburgh.
