Pittsburgh-based North Cascades Forest Products, LLC has two openings for Japanese speakers: salesperson and trader.

The Sales (Timber Trade) position:
No Experience required

On the job training.
Must be willing to learn about timber industry.

Blue collar field trader.
Approximately 40% office work, 60% on the road in all weather conditions.
Must work in mud, snow, rain.
Primarily Fall to late Spring industry.

Must be willing to drive long hours for domestic travel. (4-8hrs in a day)
Must be able to go on the road for up to a week.
Opportunities for international travel.

Occasional weekends will be required as you will need to attend with our clients visiting from overseas.
Bilingual Japanese is necessary as our main clientele is from Japan.
Our customers periodically visit for field inspections and purchasing trips.

Must build and maintain good relationships with both suppliers and customers.

Plenty of opportunity for growth.
There will be base salary, then upon reliability of duties commission on sales.

Must have basic computer skills: Email, Word, Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30,000.00 to $45,000.00 /hour

No Experience required

Bilingual preferred (Japanese Preferred, other languages are still a plus)
Our main market is Japan, however we deal with many other countries as well.
