The Chinese documentary Our Time Machine (时光机) will play in Pittsburgh on November 11 and 16 as part of the Three Rivers Film Festival.
When artist Maleonn realizes that his father suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, he creates “Papa’s Time Machine”–a magical, autobiographical stage performance featuring life-size mechanical puppets. Through the production of this play, the two men confront their mortality before time runs out and memories are lost forever.It plays at the Harris Theater at 6:00 pm on November 11 and at 4:00 pm on November 16, though tickets are not yet available.
